wieder da und schon wieder weg

Ich bin heile aus Indien zurück gekommen. Melanie hatte leider einen kleinen Unfall aber es geht wieder aufwärts.
Nach einer Woche in Hamburg wurde ich sehr spontan nach Spanien berufen. Dienstag hat mein Chef angerufen und Mittwoch schon im Flieger gesessen... So schnell kann es gehen!
Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich am Wochenende wenigstens einen freien Tag habe um mir dann vielleicht mal ein bisschen Spanien angucken kann. Das Wetter ist hier im Moment hier wie in Deutschland, - also nix mit Strand und so...

Happy New Year

I wish you a happy new year. Hope you had a good slide (as we would say in Germany). With today there are a lot changes for me. First of all I finished my Trainee year and from today I am working not like an intern deluxe but as an engineer. But the biggest change is that my time here in India comes to an end, I will just finish the project, sort the things out and than I will go back to Hamburg for my new job. As you maybe know I wasn’t sure about going back to India but at the end I'm happy that I have done it. Of course it was different to the first time where I definitely had much more fun but I also had a good time and met a lot of nice people here this time.
I’m not sure about my feelings going back to Hamburg because a lot of things changed in my company and quite few colleagues had to leave the company. To some of them I was very close and we used to go for lunch together every day and sometimes for a beer. On the other hand I can be glad that I haven’t been in Hamburg the last 6 weeks. So I will start my job in an environment from where we can start again to become one of the leading companies in renewable energy sector worldwide.
